Occasionally we will have some items outside of this niche. Whenever Lisa discovers a new items that might be useful to more people than herself, she’ll add it here for all of you to enjoy as well!
How We Got Started
Bark + Needle was born from a love of dogs and making things by hand. The company name was chosen carefully to represent both of those things.
We feature a variety of fabric goods sewn together with a sewing machine’s needle and other items that are crocheted or knitted. These crafts use hooks and needles as their primary tools. Our logo also features these tools hidden within the words.
I’m Lisa, the founder and maker here at Bark + Needle. I have been sewing and crocheting since I was a little girl. I was taught the skills by my grandmother and have worked on them for 2+ decades. Through my upbringing my family had 4 golden retrievers who I absolutely adored. Now, as an adult I have a Mini American Shepherd. She is the ultimate reason why I am now a crazy Dog Mom. ❤️
